A Decade with Pro Hockey Europe: My Personal Journey

Hey Hockey-Buddies!

I can hardly believe it, but next year marks the 10th anniversary of Pro Hockey Europe. As I sit down to pen this, memories from the past decade flood in, and I feel it’s only right to share some of them with you, especially our dedicated sports parents and everyone who’s been a part of this journey.

The Unofficial Beginning

Before we dive into the official timeline, I want to take you back to 2013. That year, a small group of us came together with a simple goal: to train hard and get better at hockey. It was an unofficial camp, just 4 friends pushing their limits and supporting each other. Little did we know that this would be the spark that ignited Pro Hockey Europe.

Taking the First Official Step

2014 was a significant year. It marked the beginning of the official Pro Hockey Europe camp. From those initial days with just three participants to now having over 420 individuals from more than 35 nations, it’s been quite the journey. We’ve had participants from America, China, South Africa, Thailand, and all over Europe. It’s been heart-warming to see so many passionate hockey players come together in the beautiful Dolomites in Italy.

Beyond the Dolomites

While Italy has been our primary base, our love for the game took us to London in 2019. It was a new experience, and I’m grateful for the memories we created there. Unfortunately, Covid hit in 2020, marking the (temporary) end of our international expansion.

A Look Back

In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more about each year of our camp. It’s a way for me to reminisce and for all of you to see the heart behind Pro Hockey Europe. Each year has its own story, its own set of challenges and triumphs, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

A Note of Gratitude

This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our sports parents and every individual who believed in Pro Hockey Europe. Every day, I’m reminded of the simple passion that started this all – a love for hockey and a desire to get better at it. As we approach our 10th anniversary, I want to express my gratitude to all of you for being a part of this journey.

Stay tuned for more stories from the past decade. Here’s to the memories we’ve created and the ones yet to come! 🏒🎉
