Speed is a skill. It can be taught. Most players are never shown how they skate — only told to skate harder. The Powerskating Camp takes the stride apart piece by piece and rebuilds the mechanics that actually decide games: the position you hold, the edges you trust, and the first three strides that get you to the puck first. We have 2 weeks of Powerskating Camps with head coaches Andreas Larsson (Val di Fassa Camp) and Kris Beech (Val Gardena Camp). The Powerskating Camp in Val di Fassa is led by Andreas Larsson, an NHL skating coach who spends his season working one-on-one with players at the very top of the game — Kevin Fiala, Lucas Raymond, Hampus Lindholm and Moritz Seider among many others — with experience in the Swiss National League and, today, with Adler Mannheim in the DEL. A former competitive speedskater holding multiple sprinting records, he understands the biomechanics of speed better than almost anyone in hockey. The Powerskating Camp in Val Gardena is led by Kris Beech — an NHL first-round draft pick and SHL coach. Every skater is corrected individually rather than run through a generic group programme. Players leave moving differently, not just moving more. On the ice you will work on Head coaches: Andreas Larsson · Kris Beech Where: Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, Italy
